Typical of the contrast between the shyness and boldness of the Masaii.   I like the way the background sets off the details of the subject.   Well Done.

Very powerful, stunning piece. The eyes of the boy really express his spirit, and uncertainty.

D Tee (28/03/2011)

I love the expression on the boys face, surprised and enquiring with a hint of reticence:the hand in front of the face. The painting captures a moment in a life.

Anne Howarth (26/03/2011)

Where are the cattle?? A delightful painting - leading to so many questions and thoughts. The limbs are so thin... can he run?? The garment creates richness, beauty and contrast. Exquisite. Margaret Asquith (25/03/2011

This painting really captures the spirit of the Masaii and the effects of the past 200 years on the race.

Judith Pilley (24/03/2011)

Wonderful detail!  I feel as though he is communicating with me...wondering who I am, where I'm going.

Elizabeth Stuart (24/03/2011)

I love this painting!  Wouldn't it be wonderful to know what he is thinking and where he is going? A truely thought provoking painting.
