Comments from the 2009 EAC People's Choice Award

I like the idea of portraying such a contemplative face and giving us the opportunity to imagine what he is imagining !   Well done.

Patrick Horn (23/11/2009)

What a superb face. Beautifully done!

Marilyn Downs (22/11/2009)

I really like the use of colour in this picture.  To me, it has a slightly disturbing quality, it's a painting I could look at for a long time.

Rebecca Horn (22/11/2009)

I like the use of block colour to create facial contours

Emma Watton (15/11/2009)

Lovely planes of colour. What's Gordon thinking about, I wonder. He has a thoughtful but not unhappy look. He looks like a sculpture that was in Regent's Park a year or two ago.Annie D Manchester
