Hi Ann, Lovely picture.. I particularly like the text on the side of the building.. makes it very gnomic ;) Mark Moran.

Mark Moran (30/11/2009)

Wonderful.
I didn't realise how talented you are!!

Paul Carr (30/11/2009)

A fab painting - i love it.

Christine Malone (29/11/2009)

I love the reflexion of the buildings on the water. The colours are simply amazing. Well done Annie.

Ana Magano (29/11/2009)

This has a truly magical quality.  You feel as though something exciting is about to happen.  This is a vibrant depiction with a sense of activity, hustle and bustle qhich captures the feel of this City remarkably.

nicole touye (29/11/2009)

A really interesting picture which shows the changing face of Liverpool.

Alison Knight (29/11/2009)

I enjoyed painting this picture because I was born in Liverpool 18 and have links with the sea - having sailed as volunteer cook on tall ships about nine times. I also remember leaving on the Royal Daffodil with my grandmother when I was a child.

Ann-Moniuqe STELLINGA (28/11/2009)

Just love this Ann-Monique. It's joyful…and of a city that deserves to be depicted more happily than is often the case! Look forward to seeing that luminous river water in the flesh in the exhibition

Chris Wilson (27/11/2009)

So much in the picture that it could be messy and fussy, but it isn't.   The simple lines and 'blocks' provide an attractive picture with an enduring quality.  Well done.

Patrick Horn (23/11/2009)

I love the colours, the shapes and the simplicity.  I'd be very happy to have this on my wall - it's beautiful.

Rebecca Horn (22/11/2009)

Really interesting way of depicting a cityscape. It has my vote.

Beryl Taylor (21/11/2009)

Wonderful! Good to see Liverpool celebrated so vibrantly!

Louise Mather (18/11/2009)

What lovely blocks of colour. Not sure the Mersey or the dock water is that lovely pink-blue hue but it works really well! Well Done!
