Lovely picture, lovely use of colours

Catherine Ress (06/05/2011)

Vera has been a very kind person in every way and a very talented person also. Good Luck Rosemary

Vera is one of our oldest members at Old Windsor Day Centre. She is an insipration to all OAP's that you are never too old to try something new. She doesn't just paint she runs a weekly line dancing class for all our members, she plays cards her talents are endless. Keep up the good work. Good Luck All your friends at the Day Centre x

Well done Vera, keep on painting! Best wishes, Len & Tricia

LEONARD TINCKNELL (02/05/2011)

A very attractive composition - stark houses and the 'vaguer' trees on the horizon form an exciting contrast.  Congratulations.

Patrick Horn (02/05/2011)

I love the ethereal nature of the trees behind and think the overall composition is delightful.

Ruth Haines (28/04/2011)

Fantastic perspective and loads of atmosphere in this picture.  An inspiration to all 90+ painters.

Virginia Seatree (25/04/2011)

A serene and tranquil view, beautifully painted.  I love the background view and the reflection in the water. Barbara Butcher

A very gifted lady keep up the good work Julie White

Julie White (20/04/2011)

fantastic! How does she find time when she's always helping others and paints so well.

Eve knox;white (19/04/2011)

I have seen this picture in real life and the colours are simply stunning. Keep up the good work Vera!

Tracey Chaplin (18/04/2011)

The colours on photograph belie the colours of the original watercolour painting. The painting is much lighter and has an iridescent quality, in particular, the trees in the background. Well done, keep up the good work.

June Jensen (16/04/2011)

Although darker in this photo than the original it still draws me into the picture. The contrast between the strong lines of the cottages and the natural and intricate pattern of the trees is very appealing and well painted. For me the soft yellow reflection in the water is brilliantly captured and I would love to stand there and contemplate! Keep painting Mum!!

Pamela Engels (15/04/2011)

Gorgeous! Emma

My favourite, Vera - I love those trees! Valerie

Valerie Lewis (02/04/2011)

Excellent! Beautiful trees and sense of light. Vera, what is the secret. How do you still do this at age 90?
