EAC Photographic Award 2010
Entry to the EAC Photographic Award 2010 closed on 31st October 2010. (You can still enter EAC’s main Art Awards competition until 4th March 2011. Click here for details). Thank you to the many people who submitted entries. We were delighted with the variety and standard of work submitted, the overall quality of which was extremely high.
Amateur photographers over 60 were invited to submit up to two entries representing the following themes:
- Home Sweet Home
- Happiness
- Peace Perfect Peace
- Age
Although a number of entrants allocated their entry to a particular category, a high proportion did not, and therefore the judges eventually made their selection based on the overall quality or impact of the submitted photos.
We are delighted to announce the following four prizewinners who will each receive a £100 cheque from EAC:
Ken Bidwell - ‘Age, Poverty Dignity’
Pat Copner - ‘Helping to Build a Life’
Malcolm English - ‘In a World of her Own’
Mike Hesp - ‘Nothing Keeps Us In’
and the following five runners-up:
- Robert Boler - ‘An Old Hand at Lacemaking’
- Marilyn Gardner - ‘A Peaceful Cuppa’
- Joyce Mollett - ‘Keeping Healthy’
- Catherine Scorey - ‘Stonefish Memories’
- Monty Shulberg - ‘I’m Happy Now and I’ll Give Them up Tomorrow’
Our congratulations to all the prizewinners, and once again our thanks to all those who took part.
