Enter the EAC Art Awards competition for 2010–11

The competition can be entered in 2 ways, you can either:

Completing our simple 2 step online form will allow you to upload your photos, and then pay by either cheque or credit card online.

Download and print the entry form, then send your entry by post to the address provided on the form, enclosing a cheque or postal order.

Rules of Entry
  • Photocopies of the entry form are accepted.
  • Entrants must be amateur artists over 60 years of age
  • The work must have been executed after the artist attained the age of 60
  • Work in any medium is accepted, including photography and 3D work. There is no restriction to subject matter.
  • Maximum size of original artwork must not exceed 36” x 36” including frame for 2D works, or 36” x 36” x 36” for 3D works.
  • If for sale, the price of each work should include a 30% commission to be retained by EAC.
  • Entries should be submitted in the form of colour photograph or laser print reproduction, no larger than A4 in size. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT FRAMED ORIGINAL WORKS AT THIS FIRST STAGE, ONLY SEND REPRODUCED IMAGES.
  • Each entry should be labelled clearly with the title of the work and the entrant’s name and address.
  • Each entry must be accompanied by the official entry form and appropriate fee. A maximum of 5 entries per artist is allowed.
  • All entry fees go towards the administration of the competition and will not be refunded if your work is not selected for exhibition.
  • Entries cannot be returned unless a stamped addressed envelope is provided with the appropriate paid postage.
  • All artists will be informed of the outcome of their entry by 14th March 2011.
  • If selected for exhibition the entry must be submitted in original format and works on paper must be framed.
  • Responsibility for damage or loss, however caused, is the responsibility of the artist. EAC cannot be responsible for any works lost or damaged in the post, or when hung in the exhibition.
  • The decision of the judging panel shall be final and EAC will not enter into correspondence with entrants or their representatives.
  • The copyright remains with the artist, but EAC retains the right to reproduce the works for publicity purposes for the Art Awards and its exhibitions (including its website) in any format in all territories in perpetuity.
