Art Awards 2010-11

The 17th EAC Over 60s Art Awards were launched at the end of July 2010, with a long lead-in time to the finalists’ exhibition, which will be held at The RBSA Gallery in Birmingham from 10th to 21st May 2011. This will return the Art Awards to their more traditional timing, allowing the Winter to prepare work for entry, with the exhibition held in the warmer Summer months.

The deadline for entries, which was March 4th, has now passed, and the judges’ selection of 121 finalists and 43 highly commended artists has also taken place.

The images of the finalists’ works are now uploaded onto the website, and will be available to view and vote on until the end of the first week in May. (date to be confirmed) The artist with the most points (see rules) will be awarded The EAC People’s Choice Award prize at the exhibition preview day on Saturday May 10th.

This year the exhibition will be held at The RBSA Gallery in Birmingham from 10th to 21st May 2011.
