About Art Awards

Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) is a national charity that helps older people make informed decisions about meeting their housing and care needs. EAC has run the Over 60s Art Awards since 1994.

The Awards celebrate the talent and creativity of amateur artists who are between the ages of 60 and over 100, and who work in any genre. With Prizes on offer, it also awards those talents.

Over the years, EAC’s annual competition has attracted entries from over 27,000 amateur artists, while its exhibitions of finalists’ work, generally held in London galleries, have attracted a faithful following, and brought pleasure to many.
